I appreciate all the concern with player many of us believe to be good enough (with decent team tactics, and maybe better players around them) but without being in the meetings, could this also be a wake up call. “Find yourself a new club, or come back in pre season and prove me wrong”.

That makes no sense. He would get better money as a free agent so he would surely never accept that and would be rightfully annoyed.

Maybe with Edwards. Cook believes in his ability to get the best out of him. Get Edwards fit again and we might get the player we saw at the beginning of the season. Which dont forget was a very good player with 5 goals etc
