Generally - anyone know if you can do it via a handwritten letter? as I don't have a printer.

Just rang GP surgery - to quote the receptionist "we know very little about it actually, but I'd have thought so yes, as long as you mak it very clear what you're saying".
Just read the FT article - no objection to sharing data with genuine medical institutions, but for the Govt./NHS not to specify where else the data could be sold to is outrageous & dangerous, considering the ever more right-wing trajectory we've been steered down in recent years. Particularly scary for those who remember the Holocaust. | |

Yep, I'd have had no idea if it wasn't for stumbling across this thread last month, it's pretty outrageous that something as big as this isn't making more headlines.
With regards to not having a printer, you can email the document to your GP surgery if that helps you at all.
