The exact phrase I heard was 'stay of execution', although I'm not sure leaving Ipswich is necessarily terminal, quite the opposite for some I would suggest. The only 2 I heard mentioned were KVY and Dobra who would be given a chance to impress in pre season. Would make sense given their involvement towards the back end of last season.
I would imagine there's a string of others that will depend on there being any interest from other clubs as to how they're managed. Holy, Lankester and Bishop have been told they can go, I know that much. And there's interest in Downes, so he might well be off soon. I can't see the likes of Donacien, Toto, Hawkins, Drinan, Kenlock getting much time from Cook. [Post edited 16 Jun 2021 11:19]
