He was lucky to escape at least a yellow in that little bit of handbags. He was possibly the worst offender of the lot, but there was a lot going on so no surprise the ref missed it. He did get a whack in the plumbs earlier on though, so it probably evens out!

It was odd as the BBC commentators were making a lot out of Davies’ actions and all I could see is Roberts getting involved.

Roberts had the sense to disappear sharpish! Mind you that Turkish captain seemed like a right headcase. He was definitely one you'd want to try and wind up.
