Slight and subtle difference between the two imho. Maradona clearly cheated big time against England. But as a player he took years of punishment and largely looked to ride those tackles and/or give it back. Ronaldo looks to exaggerate any contact and/or non contact which is a completely different approach for me. |  |

When the BBC put out that doc/puff piece called ‘impossible to ignore’ a few weeks back I thought wow that’s bold of them to cover that right before the tournament but it wasn’t about that at all. |  |
