I’m guessing this could be by some distance the largest crowd Morecambe FC have ever played in front of. (I could be wrong ) Anyway, a proud occasion indeed for some of the older stalwart fans, and I hope Covid has not put them off planning to make the long trip. |

Don't forget we're still in a pandemic though, there will be plenty not comfortable with travelling, esp on public transport, let alone sitting amongst the crowds.
It's why im still shocked I follow isn't being allowed whilst attendances are still going to be reduced due to the pandemic.
yes attendances may be smaller with I follow, but for the clubs it would make up for lost revenue. |

40,043 at Wembley for their Conference play-off final win in 2007 is possibly the biggest.
For non-final matches, 22,871 at their League Cup game at Sunderland in 2012 is the biggest I can find. Had crowds been allowed, their FA Cup third round game at Chelsea last year would have probably been the largest. |  | | |
