Lots of people have different outlooks. It is when they have baseless, dangerous views that they try to push on others that it is completely unacceptable.
Anyone could say the Taliban or Adolf Hitler simply have/had different outlooks on life. It doesn't mean they are not dangerous people who need opposing in their aims.

Indeed. Didn't say I agreed with Badger's terminology at all. However, I want to point out that it is wrong to accept all alternative views as valid and reasonable. There is a point where some views need to be rigorously opposed regardless of how genuinely some people might hold them. This is due to the unreasonable nature of the views and the outcome of holding them.
