It is a sensational signing and, while we clearly have other issues to sort out, I’m astonished to see even a few complaints.

But Barry looks like a wasted loan now right? We could have used that spot for a defender/CM.

Possibly but he’s a young player who’s not used to playing regularly so perhaps Cook is trying to bed him in properly before using him more fully. Villa fans clearly rate him so loads of potential that he will prove handy as the season progresses.
