I think the moment when the tides turned on MM and it became toxic was the Lincoln FA Cup game. The first draw stung, the replay was downright traumatic.


Agree to an extent, although that was over a year before he actually left and things did get better for a few months the following season before going toxic again.

That was certainly the point I know I lost any kind of love for him being here. You are right, the next season started decently enough. In hindsight, I think we were screwed in the squad anyway. Chambers, Sears and Skuse were on the fringes of being L1 players - so that spine of experience needed refreshing badly - something Evans wasn't about to do, and I don't think Mick had the power to influence.
