I get it.

I should be.

But I've been pointing out Cook's failings for so long now I'm tired of it, bored of it.

The penny (and not the Matt) is dropping for a lot of people now. I should be full of 'I told you so' but I'm just totally saddened.

My one strong feeling is that they should get rid of PC tonight. Get Liam Manning and his team or a coaching staff (and I say that as I hope they've learned what happens when you only get the boss of the staff, not the people who do a lot of the work) in as quickly as possible. Use the money to get the coaching right. Look at Rotherham. Those players man for man aren't better than what we have. They are without much of a doubt paid less than what we have. They are better drilled and better coached.

Change the manager and coaching staff now. Or settle for a lower finish than last season in all probability.

I would quote Einstein and say, 'Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.', but Einstein never said that. Like Wigan's success it's been misattributed.

This is the thing though, we need to feel more than that — it's a *massive* opportunity this year and I'm not actually sure we will have another this good for a long, long time. And week by week it is slipping away, without us even looking like giving it a proper shot. This isn't good. Might need to take a few photos of the 28k crowd against Sunderland for posterity.
