No to Poyet. His most recent job was with Universidad Catolica here in Chile and it was an absolute car crash considering the relative strength of their squad compared to the rest of the league. They sacked him mid season and immediately looked an infinitely better side, and ended up winning the title by 6 points.

Cristian Paulucci, he’d been the assistant manager there for the last 3 years (this season was their fourth consecutive league title). He had a bit of help though, their only real rivals for the crown this year had their whole squad declared covid close contacts and they all had to quarantine, and the FA made them play their fixtures anyway so they had to send out a load of 16 year olds for 2 of their games and they got slapped both times.
