He wants everyone jabbed by the end of the month,not happening. I know people who cant get a jab before the middle of January. My Mrs only just got in on the 31st December. The queues on the NHS websites are horrendous, and that before the over 18s can start booking on Wednesday. |  | | |

Is being discussed on R5l right now; NHS booking site is being overwhelmed, as is the LFT order site - ppl are being advised to try & find those at local pharmacies.
As for the OP & implications of it - surely both things could be simultaneously correct? Ie, yes the CM made the correct call in timely fashion (for once); yes he thought it could also give him a personal popularity boost (which may turn out to have been counter-productive). |  |
