When he first started out he was over celebrating a lot, even just scores like 100 he would sometimes give a little fist pump. That started to get to some opponents so they'd then give some back and there would be a lot of battles shall we say.

He's a lot more mellow now, he still gives big roars when he wins sets or whatever but that's how he is and how he gets himself pumped. Pretty embarrassing he still gets booed, but then the crowd have been booing everyone this tournament.


Just me who actually likes him. He's a bit arrogant and angry but he's a character. I certainly prefer him to somebody like Phil Taylor who was just a nasty human being. Price is just a wind up.

People forget that even top sportspeople were young once and, while probably better than most in their age group, will not have been anything like as good as they will have become with constant practice, coaching and training since.

According to Wiki Wade started playing darts aged 14 so, if you beat him when he was 16, he might only have been playing for around a year.
