The curse of Ipswich strikes again… 6 players turn in a 5/10 16:53 - Jan 15 with 5481 viewsunstableblue

Performance!!

The press goes and we are outfought and outplayed by an ‘out of form’ Bolton - anyone with any footballing knowledge knew they were going to be a challenge. A far bigger challenge than Gillingham.

Edmundson
Penney
Burns
Evans (the worst)
Norwood
Bonne
Morsy

Only Wolfenden, Aluko at times and the subs came out with any plaudits

I would take what they say with a pinch of salt. I watched the games on ifollow during lockdown and it was horrendous. It's completely different being at the game and being able to view the whole pitch, as opposed to one drunk cameraman focussing solely on the player in possession.

OK so yeah wipes out the majority of the forum yesterday then lol. Best close all the threads.

I do agree there are certain expects you dont get to enjoy when watching i follow. But disagree that the only thing you can take from I follow is following the player on the ball, its a specific angle yes. But there's plenty in shot for people to make certain judgements on certain aspects.

It's not a curse, it's basic today, we've tried to be clever with our set up and it's backfired massively.

I was asked to share why I felt the above. I was waiting for itfc analytics to do his usual following day tweets and this one really helps to show the differences yesterday to last week.

Firstly norwood. How wide he was. Where's the teamwork he and Bonne had been looking so good at.. there just wasn't any central passing movements happening. This wasn't a player issue nors did the role asked of him. It's interesting when you also compare the central hub of players between the 2 games. Just looking at the passing activity of Morsy and how advanced last week it was too.

Last week

This one shows player positioning itself better

This thread had gone on longer than it needed to so I won't after this take on any further.. but felt it right I should reply after being asked with something to support my feelings yesterday and after seeing these, I do feel it helps with what I said. It's all opinions the end of the day.
