The curse of Ipswich strikes again… 6 players turn in a 5/10 16:53 - Jan 15 with 5479 viewsunstableblue

Performance!!

The press goes and we are outfought and outplayed by an ‘out of form’ Bolton - anyone with any footballing knowledge knew they were going to be a challenge. A far bigger challenge than Gillingham.

Edmundson
Penney
Burns
Evans (the worst)
Norwood
Bonne
Morsy

Only Wolfenden, Aluko at times and the subs came out with any plaudits

The curse of Ipswich strikes again… 6 players turn in a 5/10 on 17:30 - Jan 15 by chrismakin

lol asking me my age, when he's the one saying he won't respond any more 1 day, then responds today to be personal again with 0 football discussion intent, although he feels talking about football is baiting posters bizarrely. If he's that precious, he should press the ignore button. It's mathday, the games been played, we're all talking about it, this is where different opinions will be aired.

Banned for talking about todays game. interesting take.

Whats funny Chris, is after your monumental post calling McKenna 'smarmy', that you think your opinion carries any interest for any of us any more.

I'll be honest, you got off to a bad start on this board, people asked you to stop posting so often, so you did the whole, "woe is me, I won't post any more post" and lots of us said, 'don't be daft' and after that you toned it down a bit, your posts were perfectly sensible and often very interesting.

And then Fishers got banned and since then you've morphed into this weird, and not very good, Fishers tribute act.

Just have a think before you post every random thought that pops into your head.

I said I wouldn't respond to you anymore but given I still have to see it can you stop posting b*llocks hot takes please.

It's people like you who bring the bad feeling and atmosphere to the club with your constant complaining, flip-flopping and ridiculous hot takes.

Angela Lansbury

Excuse me, Angela Lansbury is my department.

I will not have her bought into the conversation that is no more than a case of a younger sibling that watches his older, cooler siblings get all the attention. So he tries to emulate everyone whilst having the mental capacity of a pubic louse. Gets hold of mother's dildo and swings it around like Excalibur, expecting all the popularity to come to him.

No chips, mother's hairbrush is fresh out of juice, and her USB-C cable is knackered too!

McKenna will have learnt a great deal more in this performance than he did in the first two games. He has said that he has already given the CEO names of players who we need. Let's be honest, yes we could make the playoffs but the failings of this team keep appearing and whether a sustained run can be put together depends on whether we get in what is needed. If not, then McKenna's job will be to make sure we have the personnel to challenge next season. Disappointing but have we at any stage of this season put have a dozen decent performances together. NO.

But Murder She Wrote was a bit League 1 mid table wasn’t it. Every week they’d have a guest star that usually was the murderer. Mystery solved in 2 minutes. She was the same bumbling old dear in every episode solving a crime by finding a hair grip 20 miles away on a golf course. Columbo in drag.

Mind you, she was great in 1970s film Death on the Nile as the drunken writer.

Look, I can tolerate a lot of things - but the good name of Lansbury should not be besmirched at any cost. She's not got a lot of time left - if she sees this post it could be catastrophic for her.

I thought she’d long since gone. Sorry Salome…

Funnily enough, my Sunderland supporting buddy won’t have a word said against La Lansbury or MSW either. Oh, the fun I’ve had.

Edit: I see she’s 96. Not a bad innings.

What you’re doing is being very tedious as you are most days.

I think outplayed was probably a bit strong, and indeed he had some good possession and some passages of play starting strongly and ending the better team with Chaplin and Celina on

But we lost too many inividual battles, weren’t getting to a lot of second and were really error strewn, with lots of failed longer distribution especially from evans

We’ve been a lot worse than today, we’ve been a lot better. It was a tight game, where we looked OK in spells, as did Bolton.

Just like I thought people shouldn’t have got carried away with the win last week, people shouldn’t be too despondent with defeat this week.

It’s so early in McKenna’s reign, we are still a little way away from where we want to be.

It's ok it's matchday, lots of upset people.

It's interesting, the hate ive had on this thread is about a hot take of town not setting up like we did previously and feeling we tried to overcomplicate things. Told it was no different from the godfather of the group on here and the rest follow.

Despite however, One Mathie himself confirmed, and also Warren does below, the set up was different. (see formation he has it down as and what i'd been saying all afternoon)
https://www.eadt.co.uk/sport/ipswich-town/bolton-wanderers-v-ipswich-town-match-

But it wouldn't be 'cool' to agree with such a view from me despite it being true.

The apparent baiting by talking about Celina is bizarre, But it's ok for people to moan about Penney........ But notice nothing about Donacien who was actually worse either.

Do I think Celina is a good player yes, does he have weaknesses, yes
Was my first impression of KM great? no, does it matter no, has it changed, no. does it matter no.
Did town lose today yes, did we set up differently yes, did it work, no. Thankfullly there's a game next week to make up for today.

I've stuck up for you on here before, but I'm not going to lie, there definitely seems to be a bit of an agenda with some of the things you say and the way you say them.

You do also seem to be reverting back to 'ChrisMakinanewthread' again now.

It’s not ‘hate’ you receive, that’s just a convenient but inappropriate word you’ve latched onto from desperate wannabe celebrities on wider social media.

People don’t hate you, I genuinely believe they’re just helplessly exasperated with the sheer volume of content you spout on here.

Some of it is quite valid, but the vast majority is speculative tripe that just doesn’t warrant committing to print.

You blotted your copybook with that McKenna being smug nonsense, a prime example of a brain fart that was best sat on rather than shared.

You’re just going to have to accept that, typing absolute nonsense comes with a consequence.

Don’t get arsey, just think before you commit that eager typing finger to your screen.

You know just because someone starts a thread or posts a comment it doesn't mean you have to reply to it or even read the comment in the first place. Some people seem to have a severe case of OCD and get easily triggered by other posters on here.

Of course he wasn't, he literally never goes.

How someone can have such strong opinions from ONE camera angle for 90 mins is beyond me. There's a reason why managers go watch their next opponents in person, rather than on the TV.

So anyone who wasn't at the game itself shouldn't be commenting on it is that what you're saying? Doesn't that wipe out the majority of the forum.

I would take what they say with a pinch of salt. I watched the games on ifollow during lockdown and it was horrendous. It's completely different being at the game and being able to view the whole pitch, as opposed to one drunk cameraman focussing solely on the player in possession.
