Quite saddened by Meatloafs death - which got me thinking. 10:42 - Jan 21 with 10297 viewsLord_Lucan

What death of a so called celebrity which of course you don't and will never know cause you the most anguish.

I'm leaving Her Maj out of this as that's a given.

I'm struggling to separate a top three of Tom Hanks, Martin Clunes and Timothy Spall - although if I'm honest I haven't given this matter a great deal of thought.

I think I will go for Timothy Spall.

I saw them play together at Knebworth in 1990, that day is undoubtably the best day of my life and to be quite honest I don't think I have ever fully recovered.

Line up!!

Status Quo
Tears for Fears
Cliff Richard & The Shadows
Dire Straits
Elton John
Eric Clapton
Phil Collins
Genesis
Robert Plant
Jimmy Page
Paul McCartney
Pink Floyd

Yes, John Peels' death was very sudden wasn't it. A great shock as you felt you knew him. A great loss to music.

it's shock and unfulfilled potential which are the 2 biggest kickers, so jeff buckley, john smith, chadwick boseman and kurt cobain spring to mind for me

That night at Docklands when we were stranded without a train was as funny as feck. If you remember we got into a gay club in Stepney as it was the only place open and I had a ripped tee shirt on as I had dropped pizza on it in the morning before we even left Ipswich - I looked a bit like I batted for the other side - and then there was that wine glass by the ATM we kept seeing as we were lost and walking round in circles.

Brilliant stuff!!

I saw Sweat and Cubby last week which reminded me that they said you pop up The Woolpack now and again, I'll toddle down one evening if so. It would be brilliant to see you.

I miss you in a way.

I remember it well! Falling over our feet in a rush to get out of said bar, and haha, I still see that bloody wine glass!!

My mate Mark came down from Ipswich to pick us up, class!

Priceless memories
