Bonnie & Nors disappointment showing 20:50 - Feb 12 with 1278 views | earlsgreenblue | I’d never have thought I’d say it but, Jackson did well today! Chased, harassed, harried, & his overall game was pretty good. But, I was disappointed, particularly with Nors, he certainly didn’t chase loose balls, touch was poor, ok, so didn’t have long to show, but in my eyes, wouldn’t start next time either, kind of, peived at being 2nd fiddle to Jackson maybe? Hope not, but on too Bonne, did he show enough quality to get in front of Jackson for the next start? Again I don’t think so, a paradox for sure, who’s the next starter? Jackson did himself no harm today, a bit more confidence & we might just have ourselves a (nearly) new player. I’m guessing, but maybe an arm round the shoulders done Jackson some good, either way, good for the squad.
Bonnie & Nors disappointment showing on 20:54 - Feb 12 with 1237 views | ITFC_Forever | Jackson needed someone alongside him today, he was making good runs, and leaving a massive hole in the centre crying out for someone to fill, but Chaplin or Celina would be twenty yards back.

Bonnie & Nors disappointment showing on 21:17 - Feb 12 with 1114 views | Veggie | He did well today. I was particularly surprised at how many headers he won from long balls. He also pressed well. Unfortunately he doesn’t appear to have natural striker’s instinct for goal though. There was one incident in the 2nd half where he did well to win the ball in their box, then instead of trying to strike towards goal, he turned back into the two defenders behind him.
Bonnie & Nors disappointment showing on 09:16 - Feb 13 with 741 views | Garv | It was a good change to make and I doubt McKenna regrets making it. Jackson did well in both halves but it was time to really have a go at them and try and win the game. Fair play to McKenna on that front. Not sure where you're getting the idea that Norwood didn't chase loose balls. He does this better and with as much effort as anyone.

Bonnie & Nors disappointment showing on 09:26 - Feb 13 with 702 views | JDB23 | Jackson played quite well but still wouldn’t rely on him to score unless it’s laid on a plate for him. I think regardless of what happens this season we’ll be needing 2 new strikers in the Summer, and that’s on top of if we sign Bonne permanently.
Bonnie & Nors disappointment showing on 09:46 - Feb 13 with 656 views | DJR | I thought Jackson was the best of our attacking players yesterday, including Burns. And we lost a bit of shape, and looked less likely to score, when he went off.

Under normal circumstances I’d agree, yesterday I just felt he wasn’t as “up for it” as I’d have liked him to have been, particularly as his on pitch time was limited. We needed more impact from two changes up front!

My only observation from seeing the highlights was that too many times our shooting is too high and therefore gives the keeper easier chances. If Jackson had drilled his shot hard and low i bet he would have scored. KM needs to get shooting sorted out (and corners) as games are too tight. Can't keep on winning 1 0! Bonne needs heading practice as he's missed so many chances recently.
