Anyone else surprised we haven't seen more of him?
I know I wasn't his biggest fan but only coz his end product left a lot to be desired.. but where's he gone? Think he got a cameo for 5 minutes recently. Can't remember when. But apart from that I thought he'd be one of the first players we would see dramatically improved by the arrival of KM and the coaching team. |  |

He gets the ball, runs, fails to pass and misses a shot. That’s his entire game, he along with Harper, Carroll and Burgess have to be among the worse players we’ve signed since the drop. |

It really isn't, he has the skills going for a BooHoo Advert, but on the pitch, so far he has been underwhelming, and the most frustrating thing is he has the pace and the skill to get past his opposite number but then it comes to crossing or passing it's brainfart central.
He hasn't started a game since 11th December, so clearly McKenna hasn't been that impressed. |  |

Think it could work as long as we have a left-footed LCB to overlap every now and again, and a striker that will run the channels. Otherwise it could get very congested with another right-footer on the left.
I do wonder if we’ll see 4 at the back at some point in the near future against the weaker teams in the division if we’re struggling to break them down. Then Edwards can play LW again. Even with all his misses and erratic final balls he was still one of our best players and biggest threats earlier in the season, in my opinion. |  |

He's an exciting player, he certainly has the ability to play at higher than League One and has done so. He's also had covid so maybe that's affected him fitness wise? Who knows?
Or maybe he's not a Mckenna type player? KMc seems to set teams up to keep possession and maybe he sees Edwards as someone who might do something brilliant but might give the ball away? (although you could say the same about Celina). |  | | |
