It's less difficult if you actually consider all of the players, rather than saying that one player is "well ahead" and then remembering that other players exist.

Donacien has done well but surely not? He's been better than we hoped but a 7/10 player every week isn't going to be POTS hopefully!

I think Burns is our best player but the idea that a player who is consistently 7/10 couldn't be player of the season in a higher mid-table side is ludicrous.

Of course, we all hope we become a play-off winning side by the end of the season, but that will require several players being better than they have been in the first 30 odd matches. Maybe Donacien will get a few 8 or 9/10 performances in before the end of the season.
