I have my second fly of the year in here and the prospect of a summer of this again is doing my head in already.
I have a chain at the front door, nets at the windows but they find a way.
Are the wall-fitted zapper contraptions of much use? I know they kill moths too which I'm not so keen on. Do they attract enough mosquitoes though as a bonus to level things up a bit on the moth risk?
Anything else is just generalisation and moth abuse.
A couple of years ago, I had a moth infestation in one of guest bedrooms - only ever saw one or two at a time so didn't think much of it...then I moved the bed one day and found that a massive patch of carpet had just been completely eaten away by the little critters.
Also be handy if the odd cobra passes through too.
I suppose you could get some fly-eating lizards and a few caged mongooses (or mongeese) to take them out when required... This is becoming quite an expensive operation now I come to think about it...
