Brutal start, eh? (if anyone else is watching)

I know I'm talking to myself pretty much here, but I don't think there's anything else in sport than can match that.

Fair dinkum, and crown green bowling I suppose.

Seriously, the all in commitment for 80 minutes with flowing play and no stopping for contested scrums - it's like a combination of watching a fast flowing game of football, merged with a really good boxing match.

A fellow NRL fan! I thought I was the only one on here!

Been getting up at 6am every Saturday and Sunday for the TV games for the last 5 years. I absolutely love it (and a bet on it).

Queensland on the whole deserved it I think across the three games. Their kicking game was the difference really as they were always pushing NSW back further to start their sets. Solid defensive efforts from the 20 yard line to start compared with solid defensive efforts from the 5 yard line to start sets make an enormous difference across the 80 minutes. For me, that was where it was won.

As for the standard, I don’t mind watching the Super League on a Friday night game on Sky but the NRL is just 10,000 times better. It’s like watching a different sport at times. Melbourne and Penrith (and the Rabbitohs actually) handling wise are just so impressive. Behind horse racing (obviously) and Town games, and perhaps a great UFC card, NRL mornings are where it’s at for my sporting enjoyment.

Poll: Would you take a draw tonight if offered right now?

Qld deserved it on the night. Whatever the NSW coaches said in the interval was not sufficient. Didn't come out for the second half at all.

Poll: Which would you accept?
