I feel like I missing out so wanted to start a 'Keogh' thread

Apparently Keogh is derived from the old Gallic word for a horse

Are you thinking that some of the other threads will be pulled so you've started your own?
The other posters will sabotage this one if you do.

Shocker : footballers, like everyone else, do stupid things.
Shocker : people on social media, TWTD included, talk b*ll*cks.

..but I did not know that Keogh was and old gaelic term for a horse.

Don't believe a word I say. I'm only kidding. Or am I?

Hoppy, there is no 'K' in the Gaelic alphabet and the its the Gaelic version ( Mac Eochaidh or MacEochaidh ) that has the horse connection. Eoch means horse in Gaelic.

Bonus data: There are only 18 characters in the Gaelic alphabet.

Love gaelic.

Mostly lightly fried along with red onion.

Can't go wrong.
