Perhaps if we’d lost or drawn with them, as we did Morecambe, MKD, Wimbledon, Burton and Cheltenham last season, they wouldn’t be where they are and we wouldn’t be where we are. Even a draw v Notlob was better than last year’s hiding in game six.

I understand people not wanted to get carried away, but a result against a side is disproportionate at this stage in terms of league placings. We're a big reason those sides are toward the bottom currently.
In the old days they never published league tables until after the first ten games, they tend to be a bit meaningless until then.
Solid and comfortable away wins, scoring goals is not meaningless though, at any point of the season. |  |
