I don't think either are good enough and this one up top nonsense doesn't help any striker anyway. We are still too light when it comes to goal scorers as we will find out as the season drags on. |

You don't get to be top of the league carrying passengers.
Ladapo is clearly contributing and why should be be dropped at this stage?
Some fans have very basic ways of looking at things.
Strikers = goals
Midfielders = assists
Keepers = clean sheets
You've heard McKenna talk about qualities instead of positions. Ladapo has plenty of qualities contributing to us being joint top of the league.
We do need another striker IMO but to compete, not to replace. |  |

Barnsley are a shadow of the previous season and Bolton are as good if not better than us. We could beat neither anyway. All the rest we have played are around the bottom 6. | | | |

We are joint top of the league. We have the joint top goal difference. We've got goals across the team but seemingly some of you would be much happier if mainly one striker was scoring the goals. It's incredibly odd. [Post edited 28 Aug 2022 17:22]

After 1 match we are +1 point, +3 GD and -1 GF.
Today's match Forest Green replace Gillingham who we beat 0-4 away so we that is our "par" score.
Of course, we won't improve/match every result all season but overall we need to be up something like 20 points by the end of the season.
I will try to keep tabs on this after each match.
