Why do you listen to him then? I listen because he is a hero of mine, I respect his opinions, and I like to hear his views on a game I have been to. More often than not I agree with virtually everything he says. I don't think anyone is saying people are not entitled to have a different view to him, and callers to the programme frequently do, but being rude, whilst spouting nonsense, as the caller did, is not the way to behave in person. Sadly, the position is different on social media where personal abuse is common, and a phrase such as negative whinge is probably at the lesser end of "playing the man, rather than the ball". |  | | |

I'm clearly in the minority here so maybe he did. I just felt Mick doesn't often get challenged on his views which are at times questionable - I'm seem to remember him being quite down on the Bolton performance too. Maybe Nathan went about it the wrong way. | |
