What are peoples thought's, after being in it for more season than we would like, now.?
I'm a fan of the fact it gives us more football to watch, a chance to see more of the fringe players & is most certainly our most likely route to Wembley (other than maybe the playoffs)
I hate the premier league U21 involvement though & although completely understand why, being a northern based Town fan, don't like the fact it's regionalised. Same with the League Cup. |  | | |  |

Primarily for me, the group stages will be about minutes for the squad and an opportunity to look at different players, possibly look at some different options in terms of set-ups as well throughout the three games."
What you'd expect, it's hardly a priority but would be handy if we could at least stay in the competition even if it is for match fitness/tactical work/give fringe players a run out purposes.
Of course by not playing the 1st 11 there's always the risk of being knocked out which is what usually happens with these cups isn't it.
Also given the name of the cup we should probably include our favourite pizza toppings in any replies.
I'm going with good old pepperoni because of the dog's abuse anyone gets if they mention a particular fruit. |  |

I think there will likely be 11 changes. I do think however KM will be making it very clear that he expects nothing less than a win after the Colchester shambles.

I'd be a lot more behind it without the development teams in it, as a lower league cup it's a great idea, but adding development squads into it makes it more into a reserve cup - no interest. |  | | |
