No offence to the new guy on iFollow, but that's iconic Brenner and I'd rather have him back
Not heard the iFollow guy much but my dad reckons he’s too positive about everything. He seems to think because it’s club run he tows the party line a lot and can’t be critical, but then again my dad would probably rather hear people moaning all night and a Karl Pilkington type commentating on us. Also there’s not a lot to not be positive about right now surely, to be fair to the chap.
I said ‘what, like Russian state controlled media’? I got called an idiot. Fair.
I always did like Brenner though to be fair, does a good job. Think he asked Lambert the difficult questions towards the end too when he had the opportunity which I respected.

To be fair to the new guy, there hasn’t been a lot to moan about. And until the spat with Lambert, Brenner wasn’t exactly Paxman.
I think the best thing about the new coverage has been the choice of co-commentators. Westlake, Aluko, even Hayes, all been good.
