Luckily not a huge amount of league games in November but will be a big miss - has been in good form.

Decent time to be out for weeks to be honest. Assuming he was never in with a chance of going to the world cup.

Truly impaired.

If he's going to be in a knee brace for a few weeks, I'd be surprised if we see him again on the pitch before Christmas.

Shame for the lad of course, given that he's been really strong this season. However, (i) not the worst time to be out, and (ii) we'll have Morsy back, Humphreys is like a new signing, Ball is class (despite a slight blip last time out), and that's before considering Camara.

Hope he's back soon, but we'll be fine.

Ball's up for a run in the team then

I suppose we have to look at this as better news that it could have been. It could easily have be something similar to Aluko which is what really worried me and him being out for 3 or 4 months.

Knee injuries are always alarming and you can never be fully sure how bad they are until they are scanned. I know someone who's even managed to pay on after doing an ACL, not quite sure how!

So a blow but far from disastrous. With Morsy back, Humphreys and Ball as two good options and getting useful minutes we will be fine and not the worst period to miss with only 2 league games in November.
