Man City are the only team in the country with a better goal difference - so whatever we are doing this year is clearly working as we take the handbrake off a bit.
Walton won’t have a game as bad as that again for us, from the dodgy pass in 1st minute to the total brain fart in the 99th - but he’s allowed the odd bad game when he’s been so good [Post edited 29 Oct 2022 21:20]

I can’t stand negativity, I can’t stand lack of pragmatism and I can’t lack of perspective.
I frequent a few boards and this one makes me feel like I see all that’s wrong in the world in how people behave without proper thought and reflection.
It’s like like a USA culture of shoot first ask questions later, as distinct lack of emotional intelligence if you will too.
We’re all emotional, the ‘manner’ of that result hurt us all (the players more than anyone I can assure you). Overall, I’m having a f***** brilliant time being a Town fan with a season ticket and missing only a game or two in total thanks to a IFollow.
I am hugely thankful to the joy I’m having this season as a whole. Ultimately it’s football and even Liverpool can lose, at home, to Leeds.

Better selection?
This defence keeps leaking goals. |
Yet prior to yesterday we had statistically one of the top 4 defensive records.
We are still averaging 1.06 goals per game - which spiked from under 1 to over 1 per game with the drama that unfolded yesterday.
Of course it was bitterly disappointing yesterday, but let’s not suddenly write off all the good work that’s been done to get us where we are right now.
Would be absolutely ludicrous to overreact. |  | | |
