We're unbeaten in 6 league games 10:53 - Dec 3 with 2752 views | Dubtractor | 3 wins, 3 draws. As frustrating as last night was, and it really was pretty poor, if this is our blip then we're not going to be too far out when the season ends. Half a team of midfielders and attackers out, and we're still picking up points at a decent rate. Not trying to dismiss concerns about some (not all) recent games, but I really do think that a bit of perspective needs to be kept.

We're unbeaten in 6 league games on 11:50 - Dec 3 by FrimleyBlue | I did, and that's why I pretty much spent most weeks with a meh attitude and trust the process mentality, they'd both achieved enough to think this blip will end soon etc, with PC it was everlasting. until i think it was the Bolton game that started the concern for me, and then ( or it may have been Bolton) but we had 2 full weeks of training with no fixtures, and we then came out and put in the worst performance of the season.. that's when he'd lost me. Not with Hurst though has I didn't know alot about him and felt he was a risky management move based on the 2nd half of the season he had had before coming to us. KM. I like him and i think he's going to be a very very good manager. My concern is how quickly he develops as a manager and will it get us promoted, or will he fail here whilst learning but go on to succeed elsewhere. I just find it annoying that fans on a forum can pick out certain aspects of problems, but then they don't seem to be fixed by those in charge. Yesturday wasn't a fluke result, despite KM saying as such, that's concerning for me. |
You changed your mind on a week-to-week basis with Cook.
| Trust the process. Trust Phil. |

After the game I mentioned yes I did. As I said I'd lost the trust. Before that. As most will tell you I was the most avid PC fan and pretty much ignored anyone who was critical of him. Don't think at the time there was anyone more pro PC than I was.

Why extend that sort of trust to PC, who never did anything to justify it, but not to McKenna, who has been good for us right from day one?

I think I covered that. With PC he had years of success behind him.. I was blind to that with the thoughts that he just needed time. The gelling etc etc and everything would be fine. It wasn't. So more fool me. With KM. There's no previous years. I've grown to trust a bit.. hence why a month or so back I said this felt so much different to the lambert 19 season.. but just as that trust grows.. we begin to throw away more points.. he may sort it and hopefully these haven't cost us as much as they could have which would be great... but I just don't have that full trust yet with certain things he does/doesn't do.. 4 defensive subs yesterday for example.. just odd. But that's just my feeling.
