Bournemouth had a £12m buy option when they initially loaned him off the back of being one of the best players in the division aged 18 at Lincoln, alongside Brennan Johnson.

He's not had a great 18 months for his development but is still only 20. He's a similar mould to John-Jules in terms of profile. A highly thought of player with a high ceiling who has had an injury and a loan spell which in hindsight wasn't right for him. We are really missing JJ at the moment as an option.


I have no question that if he is fit and his mind is in the right place he would be an asset. He is clearly not currently fit. That must be a concern. If he is not available to play, he is no benefit at all. That is my concern. Had he been playing for Man City reserves or youths, fine.
