1) Morgan Whittaker
2) Mark McGuinness
3) Aaron Collins
4) Michael Cooper

Now if we got that 4, THAT would be a statement
Would free up Woolfie as holding midfield backup.

Outgoings:
Ahadme on loan
De-register Ball for season
Jackson (sell)
Hladky (sell)

Poll: would you rather

out of interest, what's his shot save %? I don't tend to think much of cleansheets as imo that's a team effort ( Of course that depends on shot save % as if you are keeping cleansheets, whilst leaking shots at goal but your keeper is keeping them out.. then that's says more about the keeper than the team imo.

I couldn’t tell you what it is without searching and I can’t be arsed to be fair

Think there’s also more to this save % figure if I’m honest

Either way I’m pretty sure most sides in my his league would welcome Walton with open arms as their number 1. Maybe Plymouth and Sheff Weds (where stocktake has a better record ) would argue a little but anyway it’s all opinions innit

Poll: Philogene Conundrum

For sure, Walton is one of the best keepers in League 1 (he commands his area brilliantly, and personally I think his distribution is good. This season, his shop stopping has been average at best). But if you asked in the championship who would prefer Walton to their keeper, I don't think people would be biting your hand off. Cooper is surely a future Prem goalkeeper. God only knows how much Argyle would want for him though.

From what I've seen of Cooper he looks good but that's less than a handful of games. I'm very surprised if Town fans have seen enough of him to be SO convinced he's been better than Walton. He's young and relatively for a goalkeeper unproven over an extended period. He's also quite a short keeper at 6ft 1.(we haven't had a great track record in recent years with shorter keepers). It often takes even the best keepers time to settle in new clubs and some just don't make that step up. Time will tell with him but if I was Plymouth or us I wouldn't be swapping. For me it's like L1 equivalent of Ederson Vs Allison. There is no convo to be had. Both would just keep their keeper. (for the record Walton is the L1 Allison ;))

Poll: Who do we think McKenna (not you) will partner Greaves with ?
