He was utter dog dirt when here. They have signed him from Burnley where he was back up in the Prem! Holy wasn't up to it but Norris was worse.

Norris was ok apart from a major rick which saw him hounded by the 'faithful' thereafter (which no doubt affected his confidence). He was certainly better than most were prepared to give him credit for.

At 29 he has less than 100 professional appearances. He has another 100 or so in non-league. Not the most inspiring of signings I'd say.

When you look back to that period we had two keepers with not much between them ability wise, but neither consistently good enough for a team with L1 promotion ambitions.
