don't think I've ever seen so many loans being recalled and players being sent elsewhere or sold elsewhere, incredible really

It's just a bit unusual that so many of our signings/rumours/players seem to have had that occur in this window.

The practice itself makes perfect sense, clearly.

It's a consequence of the new season long loans with a small recall window in January.

Assuming a lot of players are loaned out to put them in the shop window, as it were .Then Ashton / KM etc have done their window shopping, and would like to purchase..
Quite honestly, I think it's a buyers market, if they've got the cash.. Especially the level of player we are looking at. Most Championship and League 1 clubs are doing well to stay afloat. Especially after COVID.
