I did a few oven chips last night, 13 minutes and they were absolutely perfect, you'd never get them that good in the oven... |
About twice as long as an air fryer by the sounds of it. I'd expect to do oven chips in about 7 mins |  |

Er, jury out for me. Find it’s too small for a family of 4 (and we got a huuuge one). More often than not we use the oven. And we don’t have a lot of baked stuff anyway - much more one pots and stir fry. We get a lot more use out of the slow cooker, but that’s probably because it’s better forcc BBC when you get in late which we do on week nights. |  |

Had a Tower brand one at first but was too small and stopped working after a couple of months. Got a Tefal one and use it a lot.My advice would be to get one with a large drawer. OK for two people but no more than that ( unless I eat too much). Chips are the best . I cook a lot of part baked bread in mine. Done in 8 minutes from switch on to finish. The same for garlic bread. I only eat chicken when I have meat and wasn't impressed with it. Cooks too quick and therefore chewy. [Post edited 3 Feb 2023 18:53]
