New Company Car Advise on 12:46 - Feb 6 by Ely_Blue | Our (large Irish food) company has huge sustainability goals and ambitions, when first started looking into my new car I was looking at the online portal for Lex and there were no EVs available at my banding level for cars, they have/are changing to Arval and when I was sent the list from them there were circa 100+ EV options on the list, it’s almost like someone was listening when I was grumbling to myself and to anyone else who would listen in my team, still far too many diesels on the list though! |
Interestingly enough we use LEX so will be an eye opener if things have changed recently then My colleague who covers the North West has just gone through the process so I've an idea what's on the list

It will be company specific as to what Lex offer your company I guess, the woman from Arval was telling me that our company policy was no 4x4s Word of warning though, if you had become accustomed to the 15-16 week lead time of old from when you last ordered a company car then you’re in for a surprise! New Company Car Advise on 12:57 - Feb 6 with 908 views | Snedders | I have a Tesla Model Y through my companies salary sacrific scheme. It's done via Octopus. Works out around £500 a month "net" on a 4 year lease, and I do 18k miles per year. Plus the BIK of course. I am saving about £200 a month on what I was paying for Petrol, that's doing 250 miles a week. Had a free Ohme home charger installed which saved me £500. I'm on the intelligent Octopus tariff so get cheap electric as standard between 11.30pm and 5.30am. I've used the Tesla public chargers a few times and had absolutely no problems. Including one trip to Newcastle and back. Range wise, get about 250-270 miles in the summer, depeding on driving style of course. At the moment as its cold, the range does drop but that's expected. One thing I will say is it's absolutely rapid, so have to try not to accelerate too fast. But it is fun to drive! [Post edited 6 Feb 2023 12:58]

What would you class as large Irish food? Do they just produce very big potatoes?
