It's been a bloody good effort by the team tonight.
Like yourself, pleased it wont be going to extra time.

Roll on Saturday.

We have no village green, or a shop. It's very, very quiet. I can walk to the pub.

It was the perfect tie for us really. Testing our mettle against, not only a team from the division above, but the team running away with it. And we've matched them for 180 minutes.

Proud of my team but the real work begins (again) Sat.

A winner either way without extra time was pretty much the ideal result and as you said we gave a good account of ourselves.

Saturday is going to be really hard and frankly we don't need anything that was going to make that any harder.

Absolutely this fella. Proud as punch.
Really looking forward to Saturday, we're more than capable of getting a bloody good win.

Recovery time is three days maximum isn't it?

Would still be another thing to make it harder, which we don't need.

"But it’s Tuesday night, I don’t think it’s going to have too much impact on where we’re at on Saturday at three o’clock, I don’t think there’ll be any issues with fatigue or energy levels for that game on Saturday"

Not my words.

I can imagine Kompany coming into our dressing room to give us a lot of praise, and that will give the players a great morale boost, as well as the performance.
