I didn't watch the game but from the sounds of it, Burnley were getting very much on top and we probably needed to slow the game down a bit, try and stop their momentum. The consequence of that is sometimes you get a lot of added time.
It was unusual because if I was Burnley I would be thinking we were. Their fans on their forums took a lot of glee in a late winner against 'time wasting Ipswich'. Jackson went down in front of their fans for an innocuous incident second half and that's when it seemed to start but he did seem a little off the pace after that and was subsequently substituted.
It was nowhere near what teams do to us at PR but it's conceivable that were trying to be a little streetwise and save our legs from 90 mins of pure intensity with Saturday in mind.

Less to do with wasting time and more to do with breaking up play when the other team is dominant? There were times last night were Burnley had good patches of control and smoeone going down allowed us to regain some momentum.
Not a fan of it when it happens to us and I'd like to see football bring in the rugby approach of letting physios come onto the pitch during play under the control of the 4th official.

They were mainly calling for Hladky to be booked and the worst offender. Typical that it always seems to work against us but when we do it results in a massive fail ultimately.

Cambridge did it very well on Saturday and it did halt our momentum to a certain extent. It obviously didn't affect zBurnley. We need to stay focused as Burnley clearly did ...
