A lot of "ifs"..But, win the next three, which I think we can. Then we're well in with a shout...
Our next really tricky looking game, is 4 games time, away at Bolton. Plymouth are away at Barnsley on the same day...
Not taking anything away from our next 3 opponents, least of all, Burton, who are in good form. But, if we want autos, we should be beating teams in the bottom 6-7. Even if it's a scrappy 1-0.. |

Of course it's possible, but I still think its a big, big ask to expect enough of a points swing, especially when we go through those Bolton/Barnsley/Derby away games.

Do I think we will? Honestly, probably not.
Do I think we can? 100% yes, and the next 2 games give us a real chance to put ourselves back in a good position. |
I think it's the 3 aways after that which will decide where we finish ,but in our own hands but toudgh games going into them with 4 wins must be good though |  |

But if you want an answer right now, I’d say play-offs.
There was a lot of really good play today, and Luongo looks a game changer. The score should have been 1-4 to us, as some of our chances were easier to score than miss, and obviously they failed to score in a passage of play that was bordering on the ridiculous - Some luck at last. I think we’re going to go on a run.
But I still think the Plymouth project has more resilience and their manager is too good to let their amazing seasons fall apart.
But again if it’s going to go pear shaped - it’s going to be in the next three games |  |

I’m not expecting top 2 now, but you never know. Take each game at a time, treat each as a ‘must win’, ya dada, and let’s see where it takes us.
I’m not sure I could handle the pressure of watching us missing several open goals in the PO knowing a defensive brainfart is always on the cards. |  |

Following the drop off in form Nov-Feb I am more focused on securing and setting for playoffs. However depending on our form all options are on table. Take care of our own business and see what happens. Danger is we can’t go into the playoffs with the feeling of disappointment from not making the automatics. We must simply beat teams in front of us at the time. Supporters need to see every game as a cup final and enjoy whatever we can get out of the season. | |
