Worst result and performance in our history. I’ve never been this angry supporting Wednesday. Unprofessional and unacceptable. Lot would be released tonight if I was in charge.

Been having a read through this thread, and if you were to change some names and dates it could very easily be a thread on here.

There can be a bit of an odd attitude with some SW fans, but generally all clubs are the same and that thread could very easily be one on here or any other club for that matter.

Exactly. Every set of fans is the same, we all react emotionally to how our team is doing. A few wins and we all think we're brilliant and gonna win the league, a wobble after a good spell and suddenly it's, 'we're bottlers'.

Take a passage of play where we string ten passes together from one side of the pitch to the other and it finishes with a cross being blocked for an Ipswich throw in. If we've been on a good run and are 1-0 up this is great play, probing the opposition for weakness and retaining possession. If we lost last week and are 0-1 down this is 'creating nothing', 'not testing the keeper', etc.

Is it why Plymouth slipped at the end of last season?

Don't they have that same squad now?

Won't every top team have some players who will get moved on if they are promoted; and some who will go if they aren't.

No..we ran out of players/legs and couldn't match the top sides overr the season.

Both issues we have corrected for this season.

Whilst I still make Wednesday slight favourites to go up, I was surprised they not only failed to strengthen other than Flint, who is effective but limited at centre back, and they let Mighten go back to Forest where he is simply languishing.

They do look like injuries and an older squad are making it hard for them....they looked clueless against FGR who basically executed the same formation they used at Home Park, but with added pace from Garrick. When Bannon gets almost all of his possession in his own half then you a re winning the battle.

Expect Vaulks back for some forward impetus on Wednesday at Cheltenham. I expect them to win but wouldn't be shocked or disappointed if they drew/lost.

As they say in Cheletenham Neer cast a clout till Alfie May is out....
