Grand Master oh_weds_we_love_you Posted 3 minutes ago Worst result and performance in our history. I’ve never been this angry supporting Wednesday. Unprofessional and unacceptable. Lot would be released tonight if I was in charge.

Imagine the atmosphere for their next home game if they don’t beat Cheltenham on Wednesday.
We can hope can’t we , but sadly I can’t that game being a problem for them. Every time I look at who Wednesday and Plymouth are playing I think, oh well, who have they got after that game then? Because they seem to have such easy ( potential to recover their mojo) games next.

There’s always been an undercurrent amongst their fans that they’ve been doing well despite Moore, not because of him… was never going to take much for that to come back to the surface.
I watched the game at my in-laws who are Wednesday fans - made for interesting chat around the dinner table.
But yes - the feeling amongst many fans is that any other manager would have them crowned as Champions by now, and that Moore was only appointed as he was cheap.
I’ve seen quite a few of their games this season one way or the other, and the rest of their season will be determined by when Josh Windass returns from injury.

Hope they lose all momentum by the time that happens. What was / is his injury ( hope it’s a hamstring , takes ages to recover from )!

It’s ridiculous they think this. If we had Guardiola then maybe we’d walk the league.
We’re got an excellent manager and an excellent team and we are exactly where we should be and deserve to be. And we’ve been brilliant this season.

We weren't clear at the top at the time. You think players would spunk a title (even League 1) in the hope of getting a new contract?
Seen it said during our bad patch this season. I know Shane Supple said it about the dressing room he was a part of, but it's usually a pretty daft thing to believe.
As a professional footballer the better you play the more and better opportunities you'll get. Going on a go-slow so the club stays in a lower division doesn't really make a lot of sense.
For much of the first half those 4 especially were hurting us
Windass and Byers are injured, and it’s frustratingly opaque to Owls fans when they’ll return. See below.
As they’ve been out, their form has faltered and they won’t be back soon.
It’d be like taking Chaplin and Luongo out of our team
Windass has 15 goals and 7 assists; Byers 6 and 3
Wednesdayites have been sweating the fitness of the duo after Byers came off in the 1-0 win over Portsmouth and Windass as they drew 1-1 with Bolton Wanderers, however until now there has been no official word on how long they will face on the sidelines as they recover.
Darren Moore has said previously that they would be dealing with specialists in order to get to the bottom of the situation, and he has now revealed that in two weeks time the pair will be able to test their injuries out in order to gauge when they could potentially be back in action.

I thought it was more him saying that was one of the things that erroded his love for the game. Its what he witnessed in the dressing room rather than it being himself
I wasn't suggesting he was referring to himself.
“Hello, I'm your MP. Actually I'm not. I'm your candidate. Gosh.”

There can be a bit of an odd attitude with some SW fans, but generally all clubs are the same and that thread could very easily be one on here or any other club for that matter.
No idea when I began here, was a very long time ago. Previously known as Spirit_of_81. Love cheese, hate the colour of it, this is why it requires some blue in it.

I thought I saw a comment windass was out for the season.
Can't remember which thread, but I think someone on here said he'd be having an assessment in 2 weeks' time re whether he was ready to return to gentle training.

April is not for the feint hearted lol !
Pretty strange logic given they just lost to the worst team in the league.
If anything I could say that fact would make them very nervous coming into another tricky game where they are expected to win.
