I've a genuine confession to make ... 14:45 - Apr 19 with 3684 viewsurbanblue

When Broadhead put away the penalty last night I got a lump in my throat and felt the beginnings of me choking up ...

I've supported Ipswich for nearly 50 years and never had a moment like that before, even with our past successes.

Thank you Keiren, the players, Game changer, the fans and all at the club for making me proud to be an Ipswich supporter again.

Same here actually. I've supported Ipswich since I was a little kid, which happened to start when we were in the Premier League. Ever since then it's just been mostly misery, so to see us doing so well really is something after all of these years. Everything else in my life is falling apart it seems too, so this is one of the positive things which is keeping me going. Just hope we don't mess it up. I'm not sure I could take the disappointment with everything else going on! :) :)

I’m not going to say I’ve never felt like this.

The Bolton game in the play off semi will take some beating.

But Broadhead’s first was a moment to cherish as it felt like Lincoln at home all over again. Then the penalty was just a pure limbs and hugging neighbours moment. My son got lifted and hugged by all around us. The tension before he took it was unreal!

I don't remember ever being as nervous for a penalty before, really was an incredible relief when it hit the net.

Barnsley's at Wembley........

Super post. I think the Bolton play off home leg was a tear jerker too.
