Hirst's value on 09:24 - Apr 26 by StokieBlue | I'm sure I read his purchase clause at Blackburn for the loan during he first half of the season was 5m. Not sure we are going to get him for anything like 2m. SB |
The clause was 10-12m I believe

Hirst's value on 09:43 - Apr 26 by LeoMuff | He is good but for £5-6m I would hope to be getting better, £2m seems reasonable, considering he didn’t score in his first attempt at Championship football. |
He is absolutely worth £5 million to a Championship side. We could potentially get 3 great seasons out of him and sell him on for a significant sum. Same as what we will do with Broadhead and Davis.

Hirst's value on 09:34 - Apr 26 by nodge_blue | trouble is I can see Leicester not selling him. |
Leicester are inching towards safety and I don’t think they’d keep him if they stay up.

Hirst's value on 09:10 - Apr 26 by Sparky85 | Difficult one isn't it. I think I read somewhere that Blackburn had an option to buy but was in excess of £6m. We may have a similar option to buy in our loan agreement (although not at that level). He was brilliant last night. |
Youd think those kind of figures would have been linked into Blackburn getting promoted to Prem'? Could see Ashton negotiating relatively small down payment circa 1.5 - 2m, with large add ons for promotion. Which begs the question... How much have got to shell out for this season's Promotion, in add ins, for players signed in last 2 seasons...? Gotta be a few million?
