I'm sure I read his purchase clause at Blackburn for the loan during he first half of the season was 5m.

He is good but for £5-6m I would hope to be getting better, £2m seems reasonable, considering he didn’t score in his first attempt at Championship football. |

Difficult one isn't it. I think I read somewhere that Blackburn had an option to buy but was in excess of £6m.
We may have a similar option to buy in our loan agreement (although not at that level).

Could see Ashton negotiating relatively small down payment circa 1.5 - 2m, with large add ons for promotion.
