Why wait for an empty stadium?

Forget everything else, the fact there were 29,000 fans at the game is testimony to the work they've done.

Why wait for an empty stadium? Because they don't want to hog the limelight or detract from the team. Although I'm sure sime Bristol City fans will be working out how to photoshop a crowd there in the background...

I don’t think anyone would have begrudged them that, but I thought it was pretty classy that they stayed off and let the celebrations be all about the team (and Ashton).

Again, completely right and I agree with you 100%. I just think that they are as much to do with this success as the team are.
