I agree, very versatile.
In fact, he's a very similar player to Broadhead. Stocky but skilful. Would be a great option to have as back-up for Broady or even alongside him to unlock stubborn defences at home. |
Good friend of mine plays for Blackpool, he's now out of contract from the summer and unfortunately has a long term cruciate ligament injury which is dreadful timing when you're in your 30's. He once described Lavery to me as 'a young Rooney'. A gross over exaggeration no doubt in terms of ability, but firmly in that mould of player. |  |

Blackpool have a 12 month option, which they'll almost certainly exercise. But even then that doesn't give them a great deal of room to bargain if we came sniffing. |  | | |
