A lovely summer's day in the sun. Before the game I was a bit nervous as MK Dons had been quality the season before. However we outclassed them for the entire game, and showed that we had the potential to be one of the best teams in the league.

That was a good day. Absolutely glorious August weather.
An ultimately comfortable win, three goals and a clean sheet. I really enjoyed the opening goal with the Donacien run and cross for Burns to sweep in to the far corner.
And I got a picture with Bluey afterwards. 😎

A hot summer’s day for the first day of my summer holiday. Drove down from Yorkshire with the kids and for once thankful that our seats are in the shade. Wasn’t sure if we were good or MK Dons were just bad at this stage (turned out both were true). Then drove on to Dorset afterwards for two-week break feeling very optimistic about the season.
