I agree to a point hence why I said id be fine for him signing and I do think he will sign still, however KM'S thoughts may well have changed for all we know, so even if he didn't sign, I wouldn't be suprised as we have a bigger Market to shop in now imo.
BUT my actual point was more of the way some made it seem like the priority signing, which imo it's not, that's all. [Post edited 29 May 2023 12:26]

I think KM's thoughts would only be changed if there was suddenly a ridiculously ambitious target available.
Hirst has been a long term target and bringing him in on loan shows KM thought he was good enough right now. Hirst then only got better and better with each game. I would be amazed if he wasn't the number one target on our striker list. |  |

Do you think we need more than Ladapo and Pigott for that role?
Would a player we had on loan and performed the role very well be preferable to someone who hasn't actually played in the team before?
If your answers are yes to both of those, does that not make him a priority? Of course we will have alternatives to pursue should it not be possible. I would imagine we will have made enquiries about a couple of other options at least. |
