Their sporting director Stuart Webber could be off to Leeds. He’s been pretty crucial to their ‘success’ and infrastructure improvements. Also hired their current coach, although it doesn’t sound as though he’s a popular choice by all accounts.

Would also explain why Farke is one of the favourites for the Leeds job.

Webber is highly unpopular with the six fingered ones these days!

They blame him for recent poor recruitment, particularly last season. Apparently he is into mountain climbing and during one transfer window was off climbing rather than doing the job he’s paid to do. His wife is also in a senior position at the club and they don’t like that either.

As an outsider looking in I’d say a move makes sense for all parties at this point. Hopefully they don’t get someone competent!
