Am I right in thinking that money and a big pension fund isn't wealth? Money is just promises that can be broken due to external pressures like civil unrest, environmental catastrophe, etc. isn't it?
Would it be true to say that real wealth is reliable clean water, food and warmth, a healthy and vibrant environment, peace, law and order, happiness and a successful football club?
So would it be true to say that the excessively acquisitive financially rich aren't wealthy, they're just hoarding a lot of fragile promises, and being complicit in the destruction of the universal underlying fabric of real wealth to do so? That's nuts. That needs to change. |  |

I know. I get a bit carried away with my half-baked ideas sometimes. But my main thought was that in order to protect the underlying fabric of society on which everybody depends, the gluttons will have to give up some of their useless gluttony. | |

If you can balance how you use your time, money and possessions to satisfy your needs and contribute to the environment to the fullest extent of your capabilities then you are on the right track. If you manage to add in love and friendship then you doing even better. |  |

I think you can probably gather from my user name I’m a rather big fan. But he’s no miracle worker, he wouldn’t have got us out of this division with the pre Gamechanger squad. The Jan signings got us over the line.
