Are you actually a little bit nervous though? Because it seems to me that you wouldn't be jumping down the throat of anyone who says "i'm nervous" if you weren't feeling a bit tightly-strung yourself.
It's ok to be nervous. It doesn't have to turn into negativity, which understandably we all want to avoid after so many years of life being rubbish because the football was rubbish.
